I’m Pablo—a designer, creative director, and educator. Born in Galicia, raised in Switzerland, worked in Barcelona, and living in New York.

For over 20 years, I’ve been designing for both Fortune 100 companies and startups, from traditional media to emerging technologies in constant flux—web, e-commerce, mobile apps, wearables, AI, VR, and a varied of advanced experiences for Nike, Camper, Volvo, Samsung, Fossil, and others.

My body of work has been showcased and recognized internationally in different festivals and awards. I was a Board director of IxDA and have been professor at Istituto Europeo di Design, Parsons The New School, and School of Visual Arts. 

In the recent 6 years at Automattic, I have been leading design with 80 designers across 23 countries and 25 languages, bringing the finest and most responsible craft to the largest Open Source project that powers 43% of the web.
